Circular economy: what does it mean in China?
Circular economy (循环经济in Chinese) does exist in China, but its main form is not waste sorting. Nevertheless, there is a strong legal framework, many existing practices and a clear strategy for the next 5 years. But before we deep-dive into China’s context let me start from the beginning.
