Types of Water Contamination:

Biological Contamination: The contamination which is caused by microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites, and it causes diseases, like cholera and typhoid.

Chemical Contamination: The chemical pollutants are harmful chemicals, heavy metals, or alkaline substances, if they are mixed with water, they can contaminate it.

Physical Contamination: It occurs when soil, sand, plastic, or dust particles are thrown into water, affecting taste and making it impure.

Organic Contamination: Organic matter, like benzene, or other solvents are harmful and pollute water, which causes a bad odour and harm to the aquatic environment.

Thermal Contamination: When the temperature of the water increases due to industrial matter, thermal contamination occurs.
