EcoLog wins EU cash for floating CO2 liquefaction and storage unit in Greece
Peter Livanos-controlled EcoLog and Greek national grid operator DESFA have won a European Union grant that will allow them to fund a floating liquefaction and storage unit (FLSU) for CO2 in Greece.
EcoLog and DESFA have secured a €169.3m ($194.6m) from the EU Innovation Fund.
The partners said this will enable them to build a 3 mpta FLSU, which can be expanded to 5-mtpa capacity for the ApolloCO2 project in Greece.
