Here’s why you can’t recycle wet cardboard
Many of us have done so, believing that cardboard is recyclable, regardless of what state it’s in – but wet cardboard can cause serious issues in the recycling process, according to one recycling expert.
Generally speaking (and dependent on the rules in your council area), wet cardboard cannot be recycled, explained Josh Pitman, Managing Director of packaging firm Priory Direct.
