PT Boston Furniture Industries Tbk (SOFA), an Indonesian-listed furniture manufacturer, has officially changed its name to PT Solusi Environment Asia Tbk, signaling a major strategic shift toward renewable energy and environmental solutions.

The rebranding was approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held on Thursday, December 18. Alongside the name change, the company also relocated its registered office from Tangerang Regency to South Jakarta, according to an official disclosure released on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Following the transformation, the company announced plans to focus on renewable energy development, with a particular interest in waste-to-energy (WtE) projects under Indonesia’s national Waste-to-Energy (PSEL) program managed by Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara).
