Novar agrees to buy 108 MWp of Dutch solar projects
Dutch ground-mounted solar PV firm and independent power producer (IPP) Novar has sealed a deal to buy a portfolio of four solar projects at home with a combined capacity of 108 MWp.
The assets will be purchased from LC Energy for an undisclosed amount.
The flagship project in the package is the 50-MWp Woudbloem initiative, which is in an advanced stage of development. Novar plans to connect the site via Avermieden, a large closed distribution system (CDS) grid station that the company recently built and is directly linked to the TenneT high-voltage grid. Even after accommodating Woudbloem, Avermieden will retain available capacity for future renewable projects.
